Please make the editing window twice as large
Please make the editing window twice as large, as controls are tiny, such as to change the time of the countdown timer from 25 to 60.
Pros: download is quick and simple.1 vote -

Option to set a Custom duration for sessions (not 25 min)
Brian Tracy says it's most effective to focus for 2-3 hours at a time (if one's attention span can handle that - that's not going to be easy for people who's brains are conditioned by fast-changing TV or Video Game scenes), so it would be great to have the option to set our own duration of Pomodoro session.

Minimising issue
When I minimise Focus Booster, the programme disappears from my screen. No icon appears on the tray at the bottom, unlike other minimised programmes. It appears not to be running at all, as Task Manager doesn't say it is running. Yet, I cannot start a new version of FB, because it simply won't run. Restarting my desktop fixes this little niggle.
Otherwise, I'm finding FB really useful, so thankful.
This is just a little bug I thought you needed to be aware of. I'm using Windows 71 vote -
Set my own alarm sound/music from my iTunes Library
The original alarm sound wasn't effective enough after a while of using. I was hoping to be able to add/customize my own alarm sound/music from my iTunes Library...

Option to disable monitor shut down and screensaver
Add an option to disable the monitor shut down and the screensaver when the program is running. It's annoying when the monitorn turns off automatically and you have to move the mouse to see your time left.

Create a Windows Toolbar for Focus Booster
The focus booster app tends to always be in the way of something on my screen. I constantly need to move it around to interact with something behind it, even if I change it so compact mode. It would be great if one can have it as an option to put it as part of the Windows Toolbar (as some apps such as Zune) does. Then I can always see and interact my Focus Booster app and it is never in the way of any of my windows.

When the break time has finished, start timing (e.g. negative minutes) so you know how long you ran over on your break
Often if the break ends, but I fail to start my new session, it would be helpful to know how long I've wasted over my allotted break time. So for example if the break is 10 minutes, the timer bell rings, then start timing the overdue minutes. This would provide a really good incentive to start work again soon.

Option to display session time for a few seconds every minute... instead of all the time.
I like noticing the session time but occasionally it hinders my view of items on the screen. I suggest you add an option for deciding how long and how often the session time will be visible. An example... display it for 5 seconds, every 55 seconds (total 60 seconds)... have it gently fade in/out. I imagine I'd notice the change in session time more this way and I can place it in the top-middle of my screen... to better catch my attention.

igoogle widget & iphone app & save timers/sessions
1. I personally (and many others) have iGoogle as a centre of activity and would like very much to see FocusBooster as a gadget there.
This way we will have immediate access to it from any computer.
It will also increase the volume of users2. Same goes for an iphone app, especially if you will keep the sleek design. I will pay a dollar or two to keep my sessions/timers sync between my iphone and computer. Which leads me to...
...3. Adding the ability to save multiple session for instant recall on all platforms. It helps focus when there… more

use a friendlier web design!
I love the site but the "blackground" is a little off-putting. I'd be more willing to recommend it to friends if it were more inviting and colorful!

Make it easier to adjust the time periods.
It's difficult to use the little arrows to land on the number of minutes you want. It would be much easier to be able to manually type in the number.
I do, however, appreciate the updates allowing a time slot of more than 40 minutes, and fixing the bug that kept resetting the time back to 25.1 vote -
Allow goal setting for number of sessions you want to complete in one day.
The session counter would count down from this goal rather than counting up from 0. Not sure if this is traditional Pomodoro method, but it would be a good option for some of us.

Make the time slider become shorter
I think it's nice to have an option for the time slider decrease with the time, consistently with the count down.

synchronize ticking with time.
probably best would be 2 ticks per second, but do anything, just do not let it off sync as it is now (21-22 ticks per 10 second).
